LETTER
I’ve just had the pleasure of reading the ‘Finally at 40’ magazine and had to let you know how much I enjoyed it. The first article that got my attention was the welcome page by Jenny Jacob. The second paragraph got me in as soon as I’d read it. I love the layout and how easy it was to read through, the interesting and very down-to earth articles. I loved the page ‘Inspire’, and from there it only more interesting. It is such ‘reader friendly’ magazine – so easy to follow and straight to the point. I was happy to have read the different pages and come away with information rather than questions and the feeling of not having got anything out of it – you must be very proud!
I loved that the majority of advertisement were of local businesses and not something out of reach of the ordinary everyday person. I also didn’t realize that there was a difference between men and women regarding the signs of heart disease – very informative!
The layout of the articles are a credit to your graphic designer. All the important issues jump out at you and are very easy to read.
I loved the article of Felicity Wood being a few months off 50 myself, made me realize that’s it’s not over yet and made me want to get up and go after what is out there – my creative bone started to tingle.
Congratulations and best wishes on future issues. I’ll look forward to read more of them.

I've only just discovered your site and have saved it to my "favorites". When I turned 40 my mum said "you're old!" She meant it! That statement is so untrue. My husband is two months older than me and we have two toddlers together. We cannot believe how young and vibrant we still feel. We have so much creativity that we want to get out and we feel now we do have the wisdom and the knowledge to be better parents to our young children. I wish this site and your magazine the best of luck and look forward to proving to the world that 40 is not "over the hill", but you're alive and vibrant and full of creativity and vitality. I think that life indeed begins at 40, for at 40 I was made redundant, had a major operation and became a TAFE student.
